Muhammad Habibur Rahman, a former Chief Justice of Bangladesh, was the Head of the Non-party Caretaker Government in 1996. He has so far compiled and written fifty five books including six book of verses, five in Bangla and one in English. Some poems from his A Road Map to Peace but No Where to Go has been translated into Chinese by Qu Zhi Wei under the title/ Bie Gei Ren Jian Zao Long Zi/ Do Not Build a Cage For Man. For literature Mr. Rahman received the Bangla Academy (1984) and Ekushey Award (2007)
