About Eric J. Hobsbawm
Eric Hobsbawm was born in Egypt and went on to become one of the most eminent historians during his lifetime. He was a professor of Economic and Social History at the University of London at Birkbeck. He is the author of The Age of Revolution, The Age of Capital and The Age of Empire among many other historical works.
