Summary of the Book
In the Folk of the Faraway Tree, Jo, Bessie and Fanny introduce their mother’s friend’s daughter, Connie, to their friends in the Magic Faraway Tree. Jo, Bessie and Fanny are fed up when Connie comes to stay with them. She is an uptight and bossy little girl who keeps throwing tantrums. But this does not stop the kids from having fun with their tree friends, Silky, Moon-face and the Saucepan Man. Together they explore the land of the Faraway Tree and visit wonderful places like the Land of Secrets and the Land of Treats with Connie. And guess what? Connie learns to behave herself and has the most amazing time.
