About the Authors
Donald Herman Voet is an associate professor of chemistry at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his BS in chemistry from the California Institute of Technology and his PhD in chemistry from Harvard University in 1967. He also completed his postdoctoral research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Judith Greenwald Voet is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Swarthmore College. She completed her BS degree from Antioch College and her PhD from Brandeis University. Her research interests include reaction mechanisms of enzymes and enzyme inhibition. Judith and Donald, her husband, are co-editors-in-chief of the journal Biochemical and Molecular Biology Education.
