Summary of the Book
Landon Carter was never the sort to fall for a quiet girl like Jamie Sullivan. A Baptist minister’s daughter, Jamie carries the Bible with her wherever she goes. A twist of fate has Landon asking Jamie out to the homecoming dance, and the events that follow slowly show Landon the depths of Jamie’s heart, one that he can’t resist even though Jamie is insistent on not wanting anything to do with relationships.
