Supergirl Marina Tabassum was growing up in an independent Bangladesh, . after the fighting and destruction were over. She dreamed of building the future and became an architect. Her job is designing fantastic buildings! Marina studied very hard, drawing floor plans and imagining new ways to make structures. While other students were planning to build with bricks, cement and wood, Marina wanted to make use of natural elements – light and air. Her buildings were going to be spacious and breezy, with strange and interesting rooms, full of nooks and passages. When Marina finished her studies many people were moving to Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. The city was growing and buildings were coming up every day. Marina was offered a job to build apartment blocks, but she said “No, thank you”. She did not want to lose time on projects that she did not believe in What Marina really wanted to do was to make buildings that told stories.
