Summary of the Book
What is it about cricket that motivates many children to take up the bat and play? Is it the money? Or is it the fame? The IPL has changed many things about the game, and the cricketing world itself. Is the world of cricket so different from any other corporate world? Are the lives of cricketers all that we assume them to be? In this collection of anecdotes, interviews and memoirs, several players reveal what it means to be selected into the IPL teams, and what it means to be rejected. It also reveals how foreign cricketers have made an impact on Indian soil, and how the game has changed. Better or worse, the game will change, the book states and shows what the players feel about this change.
